  A lot of people would. That kind of surprise and horror can lead to fight, flight, or freeze. Not enough people realise that freezing is a natural response and not a sign of being ok at all with what's happening.

  It's not your fault. You can't give consent if you aren't conscious. I froze, too. I was surprised by my attacker and he had a gun. Someone asked me why I didn't act because at some point he must have set the gun down or put his guard down. I hadn't even thought of that. I feel stupid and weak. I am so sorry you are feeling this.
