  1. Thank you all for your kind words. Everything in my life is going great, and I just feel the other shoe is going to drop at any moment. I hate my attackers. I feel like they ruined any chance of me being in a normal, healthy relationship. It happened so long ago, but I convinced myself out was my fault for 15 years before I finally realized what happened. Horrifying. Reading your posts are already making me feel less alone and mad and scared and did I mention mad?! Thank you all for allowing me to share without judgement.
  2. Welcome. You know those useless phone books that show up on your porch a few times a year? Save them, and rip them to shreds when you're angry. I have also found that breaking glass on blacktop is also quite satisfying.
  3. Welcome! You have nothing to be ashamed of. You are among friends who have been through the same ordeal. I hope you find some solace and healing.

  5. I know how you feel. I tried to speed through anger right to forgiveness, and I just ended up making myself feel worse. Take your time. You will know when you are ready to move on.

  7. I just joined, and I'm hoping this site will help me heal. I need to talk to someone who has been through what I've been through. There's only so much those who haven't can say to help. I finally talked to my therapist about my assault today. It's like a weight has been lifted. I needed to hear it's okay to be angry for as long as I need. Anyways, I'm glad you are all here.
