I took time to visit some great friends, and the weather couldn't have been better for spring.
-
I'm going to allow myself to not be dragged down but other things, things outside my control.

Went and signed one of the beams they are going to use, in the new domestic violence shelter. Just so happened, that two of my previous group members (from a group we all went to for five years and was disbanded a couple years ago), pulled up for the same reason, at the same time. So we went to a local food establishment, and caught up with each other.
Lovely when things like that happen, especially when you were there for something so empowering and important ...

Went to the stables, and got to spend an hour or so chatting with people who don't judge me, and who accept me for who I am, health issues and all. I truly am blessed to have such good, and old friends in my life.

It was one of those days when nothing less than firing up the espresso machine and making a decent cup of coffee would do. It may take a lot more effort, but it was worth every yummy sip!

Took some time to try and relax.

Took advantage of the pool at the hotel and managed to get a swim in, even though it wasn't for long before my anxiety got the better of me, it was better than nothing ....

What Do The Black Dots Next To Topic Headings Mean?

If you mark a thread or section as read then the dots will change colour, but I'm not sure about not showing altogether. Or it could be to do with the time you joined the board.
