  1. hi, I've been trying to send you a PM but it wont go through, how are you? Its been a long time since we talked, hope you are okay, take care x

  2. I did report it and i don't regret it even though it was probably one of the most difficult things I've had to go through. Although he hasn't been caught for attacking me I've been told he is on an offenders list and wouldn't be getting off (I can only assume he has done some other serious crime). I don't think I was the first and sadly I don't think I'll be the last, but hopefully by reporting it, somehow it would have done some good somehow to stop him doing this again, or at least slow him down. My advice to anyone thinking of reporting what has happened is to talk to R*pe Crisis or RAINN - they may be able to arrange someone to come with you or help you with coping with reporting it. Also if you have someone close to you like a partner or friend who can come with you to give you support it helps a lot. TC Atlantis
  3. Welcome to AS Astrid. Sending you gentle caring healing thoughts. Atlantis
  4. Hello Jazz, welcome to AS. You'll find a lot of caring supportive people here. Sending you gentle caring healing thoughts on your path to recovery. Atlantis
  5. Thanks so much for fixing the problem and for the hard work that you all do. TC Atlantis
  6. Many thanks Becky TC Atlantis
  7. Thanks Blossums. Glad you've got the sunshine, don't feel bad about it but if you've got some spare sunshine going, please send it up to these Scottish Isles. Not that we haven't had some sunshine, it just depends on those Gremlins in the sky that decide what to send down to us, it changes every minute, Lol. TC Atlantis
  8. Hi there Blossums, Yes, you are right, it does seem to be only in the Humour Forum; I've just managed to get some posting in different parts of the forum. To make matters worse, I've also found that my Firefox is playing up, just to confuse me even more - it doesn't take an awful lot to confuse me at the moment, what with the weather being rain, hail, sunshine, high winds, hubby ill (not seriously), things have been odd all around. TC Many thanks. Hope these Gremlins go away soon, Lol. Atlantis
  9. I've been having problems in posting using Fast Reply. I'm not sure if it's only Fast Reply but it doesn't seem to accept anything, it just says about it being Read Only. I'm not even sure if this post will go in. I've cleared down my cookies and re-booted but it doesn't seem to be working so I'm in a bit of a quandry - is it me or is it the computer having a bit of a Gremlin stage?
  10. I talked to a very much loved uncle who has been going through some health problems lately and I've been worried about him. It really cheered me up to hear him sounding so cheerful and determined not to let his age or illness get him down; he's well in his 80's. I feel a lot better with just talking to him.
  11. You didn't take my soul.
  12. Some friends' daughter who has studied and practiced reflexology gave me a relaxing foot massage. Now I feel absolutely fantastic. My feet feel really great.
  13. Had a shower, put my feet up, opened the windows and listened to the sea while playing a game of Pinball on my computer and munched on some lovely seaside rock.
  14. I don't blame you! I'm avoiding it too. I had a shower and plucked my eyebrows while watching a repeat of Dynasty and munching on jellies.
  15. There is a very useful site called Headroom. This is the link to it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/headroom/whatisheadroom/ There is some very useful help and information on this site which is part of the BBC and Open University, and it is all to do with all kinds of ways to deal with our emotions. Take care, I haven't read or seen anything too triggering myself, but view it with caution just in case. There are some useful print-out sheets and video interviews on there, etc. I've found Ruby Wax's interviews that you can watch very helpful. Also there are a list of things like depression, agerophobia, etc. TC Atlantis
