  1. Hey Bella!!!  It's been so long!!! I have thought of you many many times. I hope you are ok. 🐎🌸🌷

  2. Perhaps strength doesn't reside in having never been broken, but in the courage to grow strong in the broken places. :hmm:

  3. Thank you for your responses both of you. I now understand why there is no M. before a male staff member's title.
  4. Beneath the names of the member identifies them as either an M. Member or just a Member but beneath a Chat Moderator, or for that matter any other Admin or Moderator they are not identified as either male of female. I have in the past referred to a male chat moderator as female and felt embarrassed and awkward. So maybe place an M. before their titles? I make this suggestion because I want to spare others the same discomfit. Thank you for taking the time to read this idea. -a9z
  5. Hello ShellWalt265 and welcome to AS! Like you, it took me five years to break the silence. I am thankful that at that time I found After Silence and became a member. It truly was one of the best decisions I made in my healing journey. This is such a supportive group and there are so many wonderful members here. We all know what it feels like to be new so take your time looking around. Passing along hugs if OK. Peace and Blessings, -a9z
  6. Welcome to AS! I'm sorry for the circumstances that brought you here but glad to have you here, among this group of survivors. There are really amazing individuals here and I hope that you find AS to be a safe place to come to. I'm proud of you for reaching out for help and for taking this step in your healing journey, it's not always easy but I am persuaded that it will be worth it! I also look forward to seeing you around the boards. Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself Essence. Take your time looking around, we all know what it feels like to be new! Once again, Welcome aboard AS! (Safe hugs)

  15. Hello there Kelly. Welcome to posting! Every step you make towards healing brings you closer to the eventual loss of guilt that many survivors, like myself, have suffered from. Healing will flow in it's own time and like the farmers who prayed for rain let's be like the ones who went and got their fields ready for it in faith that it would come. We have survived and now let's make it our goal to thrive! I'm here for you Kelly. Join me in making the best of 2014 for our healing!
