      My brain does shut down at all it just keeps going and going like the stupid energizer bunny.   See that amazes me that people can sit there and quilt.  I can sit there for hours or days drawing or decorating cakes but to quilt I just can't seem to figure it out.

      I started with baby quilts, I have made Queen size quilts. I don't sell them for family I make a quilt if they have been married 40 years or if the girl is turning 50.  The baby quilt I give to a family member who has a new baby.  When the baby is born I find a spot on the quilt and write the name, date,time for the baby.

    I am a proud Canadian LOVE MY COUNTY. Today turns 150 years old, I was remember when it turned 100. We are the first provinces to welcome Canada 150 birthday, many people will think it would be Newfoundland but NFL didn't become part of Canada until 1949 and as @MeBeMary would say I gave her another history lesson. So ALL you other Canada on AS, let us join in wishing Canada a Happy 150 Birthday!!!!!

      thank you everyone, I ended up in the hospital, head is still heavy but able to control the pain and not sick anymore

    Hi Twin, welcome to AS. It is normal to be nervous, we have all felt that way. I too have a very supportive husband but it is nice to talk to people who understand. We are here for you and you are not alone.

    So today (Friday) is my day to get my tattoo, I gave this tattoo a lot of thought, it is about my children ( the other ones were about my abuse).

    So I will have a butterfly for my oldest daughter, turtle for my son, and sunflower for my youngest daughter. The  artists will put these things together. As a last minute  thought I would add music notes on vines ( my husband plays and has taught music).

    First I have to tell you my husband doesn't like tattoos REALLY DOESN'T LIKE THEM!!!!

    So tonight he comes up with a 8#10 piece of paper of the music notes I should have and where they should go, I tell him this is not my vision, I explain my vision. Now the plan he came up with is nice and I wouldn't have thought about it. So I tell him I can see what is saying and I do like it, but I want my vision too. Oh no he says that wouldn't work with his plan, wouldn't look right. I told him I would talk to the artist about adding his vine of my music notes but my vision comes first. Later in the evening he was talking to our oldest, she said Dad get your own tattoo, his answer I don't like them but your mom is getting the one thing I would want.

    Oh it should be fun :lol:

Sometimes it takes time to find the right C, I know it was for me. What I can tell you, you are not alone here. Their are many who understand how you feel ( which is sad) but are here to support you.
