So sorry you got snow and a migraine, Patricia...  I guess the good weather I sent your way hasn't reached you yet.   It's taking a while to get to you...but will eventually.  I will tell it to move quicker your way!!

I got 2 hours sleep

Thanks Patrica it's madness really hate feeling sleepy all the time.  

My brain does shut down at all it just keeps going and going like the stupid energizer bunny.   See that amazes me that people can sit there and quilt.  I can sit there for hours or days drawing or decorating cakes but to quilt I just can't seem to figure it out.  

I started with baby quilts, I have made Queen size quilts. I don't sell them for family I make a quilt if they have been married 40 years or if the girl is turning 50.  The baby quilt I give to a family member who has a new baby.  When the baby is born I find a spot on the quilt and write the name, date,time for the baby.

That's awesome I've always admired people who could do that.  

ha ha   I hear you there, my idea of adventure is sitting in front of the gas fireplace watching a show.

Glad to hear you have a generator!  Wow...up to 100km winds!!   Oh, no...so sorry you're fighting a migraine...  Hope the storm eases soon and like Mary wrote, that all stays well.

Made it through the blizzard, hubby was out digging us out. Some of the snow was over his head,  thankfully to our neighbour who used his front loader to break the snow at the end of driveway.  I noticed the birds couldn't get their seed because the snow got in the feeders. I felt bad for them so   put my boots on, winter coat but was too lazy to go up stairs to put pants on, just left night shirt on. Let's just say snow was up past my waist. The birds are happy my legs are red from the snow.

Had another bad night /morning last night, I was still awake until 6am, up now 8 am need to work today its craft day , I will be looking for a nap when I get home, so tried. Thanks for checking in.

Sleep has been difficult here too lately...like you, I haven't been able to fall asleep before 3 or 4am for many nights now!  It's  frustrating.  But I'm able to manage enough sleep ounce I'm asleep, which is great.  I never start work before 3pm...great to be self-employed as I can manage my hours to accommodate the insomnia.

I don't think it's the migraines Josiel even if they do take there toll. I just never do good this time of the year. Today was a rough day, with little sleep. the ower of the daycare is sick, its in her home to keep the age group noise level down can be hard. When she is sick or away I am in charge, there is another helper, she is new and I will admit I wasn't very patent . Something I need to work on, instead of letting her finish I go in to help her, to get it done,  instant of letting her finish.

I can so relate with a Mom not approving of her daughter's look! I think you're natural look is beautiful and very you. I'm trying to figure out my own more natural look as I have gotten blonde highlights for years but now my "underneath color" is a dark brown with new silver strands coming in. We all have a choice in who we choose to be and how we show up. I'm inspired by your natural choice just not sure I want to wait to grow it all out!  Thanks for showing the way.

That is not spring for you.  Glad he will be home before it hits...so he can snowblow...and not be so far away when it comes. Yes, I recall you mentioning a relapse in one of your posts. Really, you've had your quota for 5 years...if it would only work that way. I was almost gonna say, no cheesecake...serves you right for not sharing , but since you have a birthday...I'll let it slide...this time!

I feel your pain, Patricia. I am so sorry. I hope you are feeling better now. 

I have migraines and they are severe to the point that I get stroke-like symptoms. It's called migraine with aura. I have been hospitalized before, too, as my blood pressure was stroke-level from the pain and my prescriptions did not touch it. I can relate and I am so, so sorry that you are suffering this way. 

I know that this is true, Patricia, and yet sometimes it seems too painful to let go even though you know that holding on will only make the pain worse. Sigh.

Yes...this is so true. I am so sorry you are feeling it, too. I assume you are referring to the situation with your sister.

You will be the only one to see it, can't upload pictures on here. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to do it,  been a bad week with pain. Yeah I know so I make more pain.

But it is a different pain

I'll trust that the different pain is an ok pain.   I'm sure the result will be beautiful, but still not so eager myself to have a bunch of needles stuck into me.

Thanks josiel, I  will admit that I getting very   discouraged at this point. My daughter has found one cold med that I can take, it's good to have a  pharmacist in the family. I need to stop coughing as much as I can to heal the pulled muscles
