Hi, I'm new here. I'm 31 and living in Ireland with my two children and my hubby. I was abused as a child by a relative, then spent 20 years trying to forget it. I went to the police about 4 weeks ago and am in the middle of making a statement, I'm so confused and scared at the moment and I am seriously considering not going thru with the statement.
