Congratulations on taking the first step to the rest of your life. You most certainly did the right thing even if it doesn't feel like it. I too, came out of a physically and verbally abusive relationship. It hurts bad right now...but stay strong for your daughter. Both of you deserve being treated with respect and dignity. Once you get through this time of separation you will be seeing clearer. Things will get better. Stay tuned into the forum...
