Thankyou for the warm welcome yes it does take a lot of courage and I've taken many steps forward and then retreated! It's like that all the time. My daughter bought me a birthday cake today I've never had one, a proper one it was a complete surprise. I said I didn't want too much fuss and she is getting to know me very well now my masks are coming down. Thank you for the birthday wishes it is really nice

Hi this is the second time around coming to AS. Quite nervous about opening up but I am finding my voice finally after 7 years of fighting I got a trained counsellor it's taken a year just to broach many things cause I speechless about lots of it. I've been abused most of my life on every level sexual, emotional, mental, physical and spiritually too.
