Hello everyone-

I am new here and very glad to have found this site. I was raped by a stranger in a park when I was in college many years ago. I did not tell anyone for years. I finally did tell a friend and he advised me to go to counseling, which I did. I am not currently in therapy but find myself suffering from nightmares and a bit more paranoia than usual so I googled and found this group. I am not feeling the deep depression like before and really don't see the benefit to more therapy. I thought it would be a help just to have people to chat to about it with. So hi
