I am a recent victim of date rape and still trying to get a grasp on all of this. You hear about it (rape) on the radio and tv news, read about it in the newspaper but unless you've been the victim you can never truly understand what happens to a person as a result of it. I'm 43 years old, very grounded and secure in my self and my life but this "thing" that has happened to me has ripped me up by the roots and tossed me around so badly that I wonder if I will ever be able to put it into perspective. And that's why I'm here and I'm glad that I found this site. blondewitch
