Welcome! I've only been here a few days and am still getting use to it. This is a safe place and I hope you feel comfortable soon. I like playing some of the games in Humor and Silliness. Thank you one and all for reaching out. I keep reading and reading all the stories and messages and am in awe. I don't seem to be able to unblock my emotions. I tend to deal in facts. I define the facts, confront them and research them. At this stage I could write a book on Post Traumatic Stress. It has helped me to educate my family but has probably has done them more good than it has done me. I should tell you I am also a cancer survivor and I did the same thing when I was diagnosed. I dealt with my husband's accidental death and my cancer. I am finding this much more difficult. Ir

Hi Everyone, I just joined tonight and am a bit befuddled. One - I am feeling quite ancient and two - I am finding that I know nothing about how to use a message board. That said - I don't know quite how to introduce myself as I no longer know who I am. I was 55 years old. I was a widow. My children were grown, educated and on their own. I had an executive position with a good firm. I took my dog for our usual walk and woke up in the hospital. It took 18 months to take care of the more serious physical problems and I have been in and out of therapy for 4 1/2 years. I can't seem to
